Cutting Back Green Manure and Asparagus down on the plot is on a roll in my head.
Peace & tranquility doin whatever it is we do at any given time. Just chillin down on our allotment / plot in ish late November 2018
For no other reason than, Just Because …
Cutting Back Green Manure and Asparagus
Sorta made sense to us right now, as our Asparagus had ish turned brown and was good enough in my head to be cut right back to ground level.
As we’re on the plot, thought we may as well make a start on cutting back the Green Manure (White Mustard) on the 1st bed of our 2nd plot which was sown in late July 2018.
Casually as we like, a snip or two here & there at ground level of our two year old Asparagus we’ve grown from seed.
Before we knew it, we’d cut all our Asparagus right back to ground level.
A quick tidy up for the now is all that’s needed in my head.
If all grows tickety boo, all we need to do now is maybe add a tad more bark, sometime whenever we get some.
Time to make a start cutting back the Green Manure.
Half way cutting back the Green Manure sown at the back end of July.
Time to rake the bed, for the now.
Before we knew it, we’ve started turning over the bed.
We don’t really do time, just do what we do & randomly as we like, things get sorted down on the plot.
Just a quick tidy up and ish form the bed for late February next year.
We’ve only got a recycled raggedy old cover for the now, so we’ll do what we do, with what we’ve got & move on.
